Exam Malpractice: OGITECH bans use of mobile phones by students

The Ogun State Institute Of Technology, Igbesa has strictly warned the students against mobile phones into the examination halls, stressing that any cellphone caught would be set ablaze.

The Spokeperson, OGITECH ASUP Chairman, Mr. Obanla James has notified the students in their various examination halls dated 19th May, 2021 to do away with their cellphones that might implicate them as this may also prompt examination malpractice.

Speaking to the students at the Dapo Abiodun MFR Twin Hall, he announced that any students found wanting would be expelled and his or her mobile phone would be burnt to dust.

Obanla adviced the students to drop their mobile phones as well as other materials that may implicate them at their various hostels before trooping in for the examination.

He added that the important information was from the school management to all OGITECH Students.
