The Federal Government has commended Miss Sa’adat Aliyu, founder of Shamrock Innovation Hub for developing Sexual Abuse Reporting App.
Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Pantami who presented the letter of commendation on behalf of the Federal Government said it was in recognition of the app developed by Miss Aliyu, (Helpio App) which is aimed at assisting in reporting sexual abuses.
Miss Aliyu was officially presented with the letter in a brief ceremony held at the Communications and Digital Economy Complex, Abuja.
The Honourable Minister, Dr Pantami further directed the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) to liaise with the young startup, mentor her, monitor her progress and support the system under the stipulated regulation.
The Minister, Dr Pantami applauded the initiative, stressing that ICT innovation and entrepreneurship is the way forward in wealth creation and providing the solutions to problems affecting society.
