Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has launched a palliative work on the 9.61km failed Federal Roads in Edo North Senatorial District. The affected roads include Auchi-Igarra, Aiyetoro-UnemuNekhua, Aiyegunle-Ikpeshi, Ibillo-Ekor, Ikiran-Oke.
During the flag-off ceremony, Governor Okpebholo assured the people of Edo State that his administration is committed to ensuring the development of Edo State, including good roads, education, healthcare, and security.
The Governor also addressed concerns about the erosion problem in Auchi and its environs, promising to address the issue through due process. He visited the gully erosion site at Water Tanker Road in Auchi and pledged to send engineers to assess and find a solution to the problem.

The Edo State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Blessing Agbebaku, and Hon. Oloruntoba Bamidele, thanked the Governor for his efforts in fixing roads across the state, particularly Federal roads that were previously neglected. They expressed optimism that the repairs would reduce criminal activities in the area and improve the lives of the people.
