The governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni has directed Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) to support Ngurokayayya and Malom challuri/Bulama Amsameri, Jororo Communities in Kusur Damakarwa ward, Gumsa and Sheme Kura Dilawa Ward of Geidam Local Government Area with unconditional cash/medical support, Food and NFIs.
Over 276 households, relatives of diseased are expected to receive cash support from cash of 1 million to 200,000 Naira, medical support and a food basket with NFIs component depending on category of beneficiary based on the need assessment conducted.
Each registered beneficiary goes home with the package below:
1. Rice 25kgs
2. Maize 50kgs
3. Beans 50kg
4. Veg oil 5liters
5. Mosquito nets 4
6. Wrappers 5 sets
7. Nylons mats 4
8. Blankets 4 sets
9. Tarpaulin 1
10. Condiments Package( Maggi, Salt, tomatoes, and Ajino)
11. Bucket 2 sets
With tears of Joy and appreciation the community members cried and thanked His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni CON, they jointly prayed for peace and more success to Yobe State.
Jororo Community will recieve thier Basket on Friday in Geidam Town.
