The Governor of Abdullahi Sule on Sunday hosted prominent stakeholders from the southern zone of the State alongside selected journalists to an Iftar gathering.
The event, which took place as part of activities during the holy month of Ramadan, brought together political leaders, community stakeholders and members of the media for the breaking of fast.
Governor Sule expressed deep appreciation to the distinguished personalities who honoured his invitation, noting that the gathering was an opportunity to strengthen unity, dialogue and collaboration among leaders and key voices in the State.
Among dignitaries present at the Iftar were the Deputy Governor of the state, Emmanuel Akabe, Ambassador-designate Mohammed Aliyu Ubandoma, as well as other prominent stakeholders from across the southern zone of the State.
The event also provided a platform for informal discussions on issues affecting the state and ways to further promote peace, development and cooperation among communities.
