In celebration of her birthday, the Governor’s daughter Faiza Ahmadu Fintiri Tuesday 5th October 2021 celebrated with orphans at Orphanage Home in Karewa, Yola North.
Audrey Hepburn said “Orphanage Home its World best place to celebrate your birthday, the happiness you get there, you will not be able to find the same in whole World because the true happiness stays in orphans”.
Faiza said many children always look forward to their special day, because they know that it will be filled with gifts, surprises, and food that they can share with their family, friends, and loved ones but unfortunately, many orphans and less privileged children around our society do not have and experience all these kind of special birthday celebration.
She said celebrating this day with the children at the orphanage is one of the best days of her life, because her mother use to tell her “helping the less privileged and orphans is the best thing that the human can do to humanity and pleased his creator”.
“It’s good to celebrate special days in the orphanage, and we should make sure we are spreading happiness among them not making them feel they are orphan, but we are there to share our happy moment with those innocent kids, by doing such things we will end up make them have a feel of the things they are missing in their life, as many of them won’t be knowing their birth date,” Faiza said.
She calls on all citizens of Adamawa to inculcate this kind gesture on the orphans and less privileged, not only during our birthdays but during all anniversaries that the Lord did something good to us.
In her mother’s manner, Faiza pleaded that nothing is too small or big for the orphans, “we may never know what just a single piece of cake we feed the little one would mean to them, to you is a little thing but to them is something to remember for the rest of their life.”
