Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate Asue Ighodalo, with his running mate Osarodion Ogie, unveiled their manifesto titled “Pathway to Prosperity for All” in Benin, the capital of Edo State.
The manifesto focuses on strategies including security, women and youth development, education, agriculture, food security, and rural and community development to uplift the standard of living in Edo State.
It also emphasizes the importance of care for the elderly, respect for traditional and religious institutions, industrialization, and support for children and vulnerable members of society.
Additionally, the manifesto promises to enhance educational opportunities and job training programs for the youth, improve rural infrastructure, and uphold the role of the media in fostering an informed and engaged public.
Ighodalo expressed optimism about creating platforms for active participation in state development, recognizing valuable skills, perspectives, and investments to foster collaboration and mutual respect for the betterment of Edo State.
