The death has occured of a Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party and former commissioner under the first tenure of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Architect Joeseph Ogeh.
The deceased who has been described as a well respected political leader was said to have died at the early hours of Sunday, November 7, 2021.
Ossai Ovie Success , media aide to governor Okowa who announced his death on Facebook wrote:
“Sad, We just lost Architect Joeseph Ogeh who was a commissioner under the first tenure of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa .
“He is from Isoko and a well respected political leader.
“He is a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party and has held several positions in Delta State.”
“Just yesterday he concluded arrangement to Host members of the People’s Democratic Party in Isoko today .
“As a speak now, food, drinks are ready based on the meeting he was supposed to be hosting today before death came calling.
“My condolence to his family and the People of Isoko Nation.
“May His Soul RIP”
