Just In: Kidnapped Edo Catholic priest allegedly killed by abductors

The priest of Auchi diocese, Rev Fr Christopher Odia, that was kidnapped this morning the 26th of June 2022 on his way to mass has been allegedly killed by his captors. This blog just learnt.

The gunmen were said to have kidnapped the Catholic priest as he was preparing for Sunday Mass.

They kidnapped the priest in charge of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Ikabigbo community, Etsako West Local Government of Edo State, Rev. Fr. Christopher Odia.

Uptown Press gathered that Odia, of the Catholic Diocese of Auchi, was preparing for Mass on Sunday morning, June 26, when the gunmen stormed his residence and whisked him away to unknown destination.
