The Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation has received a team of Nigerian Society of Female Engineers as part of move to foster women’s involvement and development in a gender-dominated field of human endeavour.
The courtesy visit which was channeled as a symbiotic liaison, was directed at providing technical support skills for women in field of Engineering, using developmental strategies.
The Permanent Secretary MWAPA; Mrs. Oluyemi Kalesanwo, who received the delegates, restated the Ministry’s mandate of building resourceful women at par with international best practices for progressive societies, assured of providing a veritable platform on intervention programmes , for vulnerable women residents across the Lagos Metropolis.
