Longe Emmanuel, a talented young attacking midfielder, has officially signed a one-year contract with KF Tarbuni, a football club based in Albania. Emmanuel joins the European side from Morsko FC, a football club based in Edo State, Nigeria.
The 21-year-old caught the attention of scouts last year during a scouting program held in Abuja, where Morsko FC participated alongside several other football clubs. His impressive performance at the event opened doors to international opportunities, culminating in his recent move to Albania.
Reacting to the news, Morsko FC proprietor, Abdullahi Mansir, expressed his excitement over the transfer. “I am so happy, I’m overwhelmed. I wish him all the best,” Mansir said. He added, “At Morsko FC, we are committed to providing more opportunities for talented footballers. Our objective is to contribute to grassroots football development in the country.”
Morsko FC, based in Imiegba, Edo State, has gained recognition for its efforts in promoting young talent. The club recently participated in the Nationwide League campaign, and Mansir has high hopes for the team’s future.
“We are taking it step by step, and we hope to feature in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) in the near future,” the young club owner concluded.
