Private Lukman Musa, a Nigerian soldier serving with the 3 Division of the Nigerian Army in Jos, Plateau State, has been sentenced to death by hanging. This decision was made by a General Court Martial at Maxwell Khobe Cantonment for the murder of Abdulrahman Isa, a Keke (tricycle) rider.
The incident occurred in Azere town, Bauchi State. Musa and his accomplice had invited a Keke napep (tricycle) rider into his house, claiming he needed his service. However, upon arrival, Musa struck the rider on the head with an object and subsequently dumped his body somewhere. He then proceeded to sell his Keke napep.
