According to sources, Oshoala’s father is a Muslim and an Alhaji. Along with a photo of the celebration was a message that said, “My dad is definitely not happy with my choice of celebration but then again, Life is a collection of MOMENTS. #Alhamdulilah #Grateful #Moments.”
As the hashtags in her post #Alhamdulilah suggests, Oshoala is from a Muslim background.
