Nigerian cyclist Bello Muhammad has earned a place in the record books after riding a 9-foot-5-inch bicycle without safety tethers or external assistance.
Muhammad achieved the feat by building the towering bicycle himself before independently mounting, riding and dismounting it without help.
The achievement, recognised by Guinness World Records (GWR), highlights his ingenuity, technical skill and determination to push the limits of cycling.
By completing the challenge without safety tethers or outside assistance, Muhammad demonstrated the balance and control required to ride a bicycle far taller than conventional models.
His accomplishment adds to Nigeria’s growing profile in record-breaking feats and places the cyclist among individuals who have tested the limits of human skill and endurance.
