NNL: Dynamite Force FC of Iyamho spanks Ekiti United FC 1-0

The Dynamite Force FC on Sunday defeated Ekiti United FC with one goal to nil in Iyamho, Etsako West Local Government of Edo State in one of the matches of week one of the Nigeria National League 2020/2021 Season.

After a barren First half, early minutes into the second half Pascal Ubah opens the score sheet with a fantastic strike which went behind the visiting team goalkeeper
to find the back of the Net to put the home side ahead.

The goal happens to be the deciding factor which separated the two teams at the end of ninethy minutes which saw Ekiti United left Iyamho without a point.

Both sides saw fresh injections into their Squads in the second half. Earlier in the first half Kenneth Igwe came in for injured Peace Ogwu, Dynamite team captain who substain injury after contesting a heading with the Opponent’s defender to find the back of the net.

Unfortunately, the goal was disallowed by the Center Referee Felix Sampower,
Wellington Agholor on for Harrison Odumosu, Bgenga Falomoni on for Kalou Moses, and Pascal Ubah coming on for Toyeeb Gidado.

Both teams came close to scoring in the final quarter of the game as both goalkeeper were made to work, especially Dynamite Force Udo Treasure, who first half knock troubled him all through the game but still gave a good account of himself by keeping a clean sheet.

The Iyamho base side take away the maximum three points at stake into their first away fixture of the season against Rovers FC at U J Etsuene stadium Calabar

What the Coaches said:

Murtala Buruchaga – Dynamite Force Head Coach : ” it was a good game my boys played to instructions. Winning today’s match was a good way to start. It will serve as a moral booster for us, finally we give God the glory”.

Ayodeji Ayeni – Ekiti Utd Coach : ” It was a bad one for us. The home team couldn’t let us play. Their game plan was very tactical. We look forward to the next match, is just the beginning of the season”.

In a statement by the Dynamite Force Media Officer, Shehu Momodu, the team will travel to far away Calabar to keep a date with Rovers FC in the match day 2 Encounter on 20th February 2021.
