Lagos – Beloved Nollywood actor Olu Jacobs, initially reported to have passed away at the age of 82, has been confirmed alive.

However, the rumour was swiftly debunked by Publisher Betty Irabor. Taking to social media platform X, Irabor tweeted, “Olu Jacobs is well and alive… pls ignore all rumors of his passing,” putting many fans’ minds at ease.
Adding further confirmation, a video released by Jacobs’ family later in the day showed the actor in good health, directly contradicting the erroneous reports of his death. The family’s video has been widely circulated, bringing relief and joy to fans who had been distressed by the earlier false news.
