NNPCL Signs Deal Wth African Refinery For Construction Of 100,000bpd Refinery In Port Harcourt

African Refinery Port Harcourt Limited and the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd (NNPCL) have signed a contract to construct a 100,000 barrels per day refinery within the Port Harcourt Refinery and Petrochemical Complex.
Dapo Segun, the Executive Director, Downstream of the NNPC Ltd, announced that once completed, the new refinery will produce petrol, diesel, aviation fuel and cooking gas for both local and international markets.
This move is aimed at boosting the local refining capacity and creating employment opportunities for Nigerians. The agreement marks a significant step towards building a new refinery that will supply various petroleum products to the local and international markets.
