The Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC) says it will hold the South-South Tourism Stakeholdersโ€™ interactive forum to ensure the growth of the tourism, travel and hospitality industry in the country.

NTDCโ€™s Director-General, Mr Folorunsho Coker, said this in a statement he issued in Abuja.

He noted that the forum would hold on Aug. 26, 2021 in Calabar, Cross River.
According to Coker, the forum is to provide a platform for the South-South tourism stakeholders to deliberate on current issues bothering the industry.

โ€œThe theme of the forum is: โ€œThe Use of Digital Technology to Revamp the Tourism and Hospitality Industry amid COVID-19 and Security Challenges in Nigeriaโ€.
โ€œIt is in line with the Federal Governmentโ€™s directive to diversify the economy,โ€ the director-general said.
