A middle-aged man living behind Mr. Biggs along the Benin-Okene Expressway in Auchi, Etsako West Local Government of Edo State has set himself and his wife ablaze over alleged infidelity.
This blog learnt that, the man was said to have accused his wife of sleeping around before things turned dramatic on Tuesday.
He allegedly set himself and his wife ablaze as a result of the fracas that came up during the confrontation that ensued between the couple.
An eyewitness who was at the scene confirmed that the neighborhood was alerted by the screams and sight of smoke that came out of the residence and swung swiftly into action to savage the situation before it degenerated.
The lady is said to have been critically burnt and has been rushed to Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital for medical attention.
