Mary Onoge Omokhagbor, the CEO of Okpella TV, was recently awarded the prestigious title of Female Media Personality of the Year at the Miss Afemai Beauty Pageant 2024.

The event, which celebrated the beauty, talent, and cultural richness of Afemai land, attracted a host of prominent media figures and featured beautiful contestants vying for the title of the most beautiful girl in Afemai.

Omokhagbor, an accomplished media executive, hails from Okpella, Edo State, Nigeria. Born in February in Badagry, Lagos State, to Pastor and Mrs Thomas Omokhagbor, she has steadily built a remarkable career, drawing on her strong educational foundation in Music Technology, Broadcast Journalism, and Mass Communication.

Her career trajectory has been defined not only by her work in media but also by her passion for advocacy. Through Okpella TV, she has raised funds for various causes, including assisting Naishat Mustafa, a young girl born without arms, and Peter, a child suffering from a dislocated knee. She also organised the Ether Brai initiative and hosts an annual Christmas party for children in Okpella, bringing joy and a sense of community to the region.
