Residents interested in acquiring digital skills and improving their employment prospects can now apply for the Oredo West Digital Skills Development and Economic Empowerment Programme facilitated by the member representing Oredo West Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr Richard Osaro Edosa.
Edosa, who also serves as Deputy Chief Whip of the Assembly, is sponsoring the initiative to equip participants with practical digital skills and expose them to employment opportunities and other avenues for economic advancement.
The programme features 19 training pathways grouped into three categories: Foundational Skills, Developmental Skills and Specialised Skills.
The available areas include digital marketing, graphic design, data analytics, software development, cybersecurity, cloud administration, artificial intelligence (AI) and workflow automation, among other digital disciplines.
The initiative is designed to help participants develop relevant competencies, strengthen their employability and explore opportunities in the growing digital economy.
