Oshiomhole Reconciles Uzodinma, Okorocha

In a bid to strengthen the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State ahead future elections, South East Nigeria, a former National Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, has reconciled Senator Hope Uzodinma, Imo State governor and his predecessor and former governor of the State, Senator Rochas Okorocha.

The reconciliation parley which took place recently at the Imo State Government House, Owerri, had in attendance the former APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, Senators Hope Uzodinma and Rochas Okorocha among other APC leaders in the state.

Oshiomhole, who was seen in a video singing a song of reconciliation, said, there was need for the two political gladators to be reconciled and reunited in the interest of the party to form a formidable force ahead future elections.

The former Edo governor, maintained that, no sacrifice was too much to be made for peace to return to the party in the state.

Oshiomhole, who has been nicknamed as the peace maker of the universe, urged the two former Imo governors to sheath their sword in the interest of the party.

He reiterated his total commitment to President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, promising that he would join hands with other stakeholders to ensure the success of the administration.

Responding, Senator Hope Uzodinma thanked the former APC National Chairman for his commitment to the advancement of the party and promised to work with Senator Okorocha to ensure victory for the party in the state.

There is no doubt that respite has finally returned to the Imo State chapter of the APC after a prolonged internal wranglings since 2019.
