From Joan Ebohon
Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries has advised church members to stop chewing gum, drinking water, and using phones during church services, saying the acts are not proper in the house of God.
While preaching, the cleric said chewing gum in church is not decent, especially when some people throw it on the floor or stick it on chairs after use.
He told members who want fresh breath to use mouthwash instead of chewing gum during service.
Ibiyeomie also warned against bringing water into the church auditorium, adding that anyone who needs to drink water should step outside.
The pastor further urged worshippers to avoid using their phones during sermons and encouraged members to behave respectfully during church services.
