Information reaching Uptown Press has it that, popular Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Azeez Ololade Ijaduade was allegedly shot by a trigger-happy police officer on Saturday night at Iperu in Ogun State.
Details of the incident is still sketchy as of the time of filing this report. But a midnight Instagram story posted by Ijaduade’s colleague, Abiodun Adebanjo (@iamabiodunadebanjo), the actor was shot by a police officer.
He said that Ijaduade is currently receiving treatment at Babcock University Teaching Hospital.
The Ogun State Police command is yet to make a formal statement regarding the incident.
