A man arrested for alleged armed robbery in Ogun State has named one Inspector Ola as his supplier of arms and ammunition.
Report says that, the 33-year-old suspect, Akeem Owonikoko, was arrested by officers of the Ogun State Police Command along the Sagamu-Ijebu-Ode-Benin expressway on Sunday.
Ogun State Police Command spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, told newsmen in a statement that the suspect was arrested after a 24-hour operation led by the Ijebu-Ode Area Commander, ACP Omosanyi Adeniyi.
According to Odutola, the suspect, during interrogation, confessed and fingered the Inspector of Police, whom he simply identified as Ola, as the person who procured the guns they used to operate.
