Snoop Dogg, the American rapper and actor, has recently made a surprising announcement on Martha Stewart’s iHeartRadio podcast. He revealed that he has decided to quit smoking after starting at the age of 18.
Snoop Dogg cited thoughtful consideration and discussions with his family as the reasons behind this decision. In his statement, the rapper requested privacy at this time and asked for respect from the public.
He said: “After much consideration and conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.”
In a related development, Meek Mill reveals he will be following Snoop Dogg and will quit smoking. He tweeted, “I’ma go to Dubai and completely stop smoking … I’ma follow snoop, my doctor said I got a lil bit emphysema in a chest if I don’t stop smoking it cuts my lifeline in half, I was addicted to the nicotine, and this new weed got too many chemicals and too risky to play with my mental!”
Uptown Press is keenly watching whether these duo will keep their resolutions.
