In a bid to uplift the rural economy and improve the livelihoods of residents, Hon. Promise Reginald, the Caretaker Chairman of Omuma Local Government Area (LGA) in Rivers State, rolled out an extensive empowerment scheme on Saturday in Eberi, the political headquarters of the LGA.

– Cassava Grinding Machines: To support cost-effective food processing, thereby enhancing agricultural productivity.
– Bicycles: Distributed to farmers to help them reach distant farms and transport their produce more efficiently.
– Generators: Provided to hairdressers and barbers, reducing their operational costs and improving service delivery.
– Sewing Machines, Hair Dryers, and Other Tools: Supplied to artisans to boost their productivity and expand their businesses.
– Cash Grants: Distributed to support small and medium-sized enterprises, giving them a much-needed financial boost.
The program has been hailed as a life-changing intervention, with many residents expressing their gratitude to Hon. Reginald for his innovative approach to empowerment.
