Senator representing Edo South Senatorial District, Barrister Neda Imasuen, has urged residents of the district to embrace the enduring values of love, sacrifice and peaceful coexistence as Christians celebrate the 2025 Christmas season.
In a Christmas message to the people of Edo South, the Senator described Christmas as a sacred period in the Christian faith, noting that it commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ and reinforces moral principles essential to personal growth and national development.
According to Imasuen, the season serves as a powerful reminder of the need for compassion, humility and service to humanity, virtues he said remain critical to the progress of families, communities and the nation at large.
“Christmas occupies a sacred place in the life of every Christian. It is a season that reminds us of the power of compassion, peaceful coexistence and service to one another,” the Senator said.
He called on the people of Edo South to use the festive period as an opportunity for sober reflection and collective recommitment to unity, justice and sustainable development across the senatorial district.
“As we celebrate this holy season, I urge us all to reflect on these timeless lessons and to continue working together for unity, justice and sustainable development across Edo South,” he added.
The lawmaker extended warm wishes to residents on behalf of his family and political team, praying for peace, joy and fulfilment during the Christmas celebration.
He also wished the people a prosperous, healthy and successful New Year 2026, expressing optimism for greater progress and shared prosperity in the year ahead.
