Edo-North Representive in the red chamber of the National Assembly Complex Abuja, Senator Francis Asekhamhe Alimikhena alongside his wife Chief lady Monica Emesomiade Alimikhena has received the second dose of the AstraZeneca/Oxford COVID-19 Vaccine.
Receiving their second dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine at the Early hours of yesterday, the lawmaker noted that the vaccine is safe and the best shot at beating the pandemic.
According to the lawmaker, “My wife and I just took our shots of the NAFDAC approved AstraZeneca Vaccine in line with the presidential directive and in accordance with the order of priority.”
“Let me assure you that the World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine for the prevention and control of Covid-19” he noted.
“In line with this, I urge all those eligible from Edo-North, to get inoculated in the second dose” he added.
