The recent passing of Hon. Abdulkadir Jelani Danbuga, the member representing Isa/Sabon Birni Federal Constituency of Sokoto State, has left the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen in shock and devastated.
Danbuga died after a brief illness in the early hours of Wednesday, leaving behind a void in the constituency’s representation that will be hard to fill.
In his tribute, Speaker Abbas expressed his deep condolences to Danbuga’s family, constituents, and the government of Sokoto State.
He described the late lawmaker as a gentleman and fine lawmaker, whose patriotism and zeal in serving his people would be missed. Speaker Abbas further stated that despite the pain of his demise, he finds solace in the fact that Danbuga lived a life that others should emulate. He concluded by praying for the repose of the lawmaker’s soul.
