A man suspected to be a member of the Vikings confraternity, identified as Junior, also known by the alias Jmoney, was killed on Friday while allegedly attempting to steal in Aviele, a community near Auchi in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.

Although the exact circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, sources from within the Vikings group in Auchi told Naija Confra that Jmoney had been declared wanted by their counterparts in Agenebode, located in Etsako East Local Government Area, roughly two months ago over accusations of theft.

Residents of Aviele offered varying accounts, with some unable to confirm the precise motive behind the fatal incident. However, it is believed that Jmoney had a history of theft and had fled Agenebode to avoid repercussions within the confraternity.
