The President of Sports Writers’ Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Comrade Ahmed Aigbona, has described late Prince Tony Momoh as a bridge builder.
This was contained in a statement jointly signed by the SWAN President, Comrade Ahmed Aigbona and the Secretary General, Mike Oboh on Tuesday morning.
While mourning the demise of the late former Minister of Information, and Culture Prince Tony Momoh who passed away on Monday, Aigbona stated that the deceased was known to be a man of peace who had contributed immensely to the development of the country.
In the condolence message, Aigbona condoled the wife of the deceased, children, and the entire Royal Families of the Momohs. He prayed to God to give those he left behind the strength to bear the irreplaceable loss.
” The death of late Prince Tony Momoh came as a shock to us. Prince Tony Momoh was a bridge builder whose contributions to the development of the country between 1985 and 1990 as Minister and National President of the Nigeria Guild of Editors (NGE) can not be ignored. We pray that may God receive his soul into paradise.
