The Nigerian music industry has been buzzing with news about the recent arrest of popular musician, Kizz Daniel, in Ivory Coast.
The singer, whose real name is Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, was reportedly taken into custody after he allegedly refused to perform on stage despite being paid a whopping sum of $150,000.
The incident is said to have happened on Thursday, 12th October 2023. However, Kizz Daniel has taken to his Instagram story to refute the reports of his arrest. He issued a stern warning to the public, stating that he will not remain silent this time.
He wrote, “Una don start again. This time, silence no go work.” This latest incident comes just a year after Kizz Daniel was reportedly arrested in Tanzania for failing to show up at a concert.
The singer, who is known for his hit songs like “Woju”, “Mama” and “Pak N Go”, has a large fan base across Africa and is renowned for his electrifying performances.
Despite the controversy surrounding his recent arrest, Kizz Daniel’s fans remain hopeful that he will be released soon and continue to delight them with his music.
