The Otaru of Auchi in Etsako West Local Government of Edo State, HRH Alhaji Aliu Momoh, Ikelebe III has said that the conferment of chieftancy title of Auchi kingdom on any individual is by dint of hardwork, service to humanity and Allah and not by bribery and corruption, urging those who aspire to be conferred with honour to imbibe the spirit of hardwork and service to humanity.
The monarch stated this on Wednesday at his palatial palace duringthe turbaning and conferment of chieftancy title on eminent personalities in the kingdom and Edo north at large.
He said the title being conferred is in recognition of their individual role in the development and empowerment of afemai people both home and in diaspora.
Those conferrd with the chieftaincy title include:
Senator Francis Alimikhena as Amagnor of Auchi, Prince Clement Agba as Oduma of Auchi. Both of them were, however, absent at the ceremony.
Others are: Shaibu Garuba as Igenegbai of Auchi, Muhammed Momoh as Oshioze of Auchi, Prince Shaka Momoh as Okhaimho of Auchi, Barrister Malik Dauda SAN as Oshiakpemhi of Auchi, Dr. Bash Sanusi as Afeakhuye of Auchi.
Alhaji Giwa Best as Oshiomah of Auchi, Abdulrazak Kola as Oshiogue of Auchi, Alhaji Azeez Bawa as Aigbokhaode (A great man cannot be blocked) of Auchi, Momoh Sumaila Aliu as Oshiokpekhai (It is the Lord who create greatness) of Auchi.
While Suleiman Abdulmalik was installed as Ogudugu of Auchi sacred kingdom.
