Yobe State begins training & empowering of Almajiris on vocational skills

Governor Mai Mala Buni administration of Yobe State, through the office of Yobe State Focal Person on Almajiri and Out of school Children education commenced training and empowerment of 30 Adult Almajiris on various vacational skills , featuring shoe and leather making, soap production and fashion design.

The Yobe State Focal Person on Almajiri and Out of school Children, Mustapha Mohammed Gujba reveals that the program is part of the administration of His Excellency, Governor Mai Mala Buni’s commitment to empowering Almajiris with vocational skills that foster dignity, self-reliance, and sustainable livelihoods.

“By equipping these individuals with relevant trades, the program aims to enable them to contribute meaningfully to the state and national economy”.
