Bishop Funke Felix-Adejumo has encouraged women, especially married women, to become financially independent instead of depending completely on their husbands for money.

Speaking at the “Women of Greater Height” programme organised by RCCG Everlasting Covenant Zone, she said women were created for more than just raising children and should strive to make meaningful contributions to society.

She advised women to grow spiritually, discover and develop their talents, learn valuable skills, create additional sources of income, invest wisely, and build healthy relationships.
According to her, qualities such as humility, gratitude, and the willingness to accept correction are important for any woman who wants to succeed in life.

She stressed the importance of self-development, saying that a woman should not rely entirely on her husband for all her expenses. In her words, every woman should invest in herself and work towards financial stability.

Felix-Adejumo also urged women to value themselves, believe in their abilities, and celebrate their achievements. She warned against engaging in immoral relationships for financial benefits, encouraging women to maintain their dignity and remain committed to God.

She concluded by advising women to love and serve God wholeheartedly, avoid compromising their values for money, and have confidence in themselves.
