The Aloko and Wine Sellers Association, popularly known as the London Women of Sakponba Road, Benin City, have declared their support for Hon. Dr. Richard Osaro Edosa’s 2027 re-election bid and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
The women made their position known during a meeting with the lawmaker, expressing solidarity with his aspiration to retain the Oredo West seat in the Edo State House of Assembly.
Their declaration adds to the expressions of support for Edosa, popularly known as Mr Project, as he seeks another term in the state legislature.
The women also pledged support for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election, aligning themselves with the APC’s political agenda.
Edosa, through his grassroots engagements and interactions with residents, has continued to promote his legislative activities, constituency projects and the Tinubu administration’s policies and programmes.
The lawmaker’s media team described the women’s declaration as an encouraging show of solidarity, while expressing appreciation for their warm reception and support.
The development comes as political activities and consultations gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
