The House of Representatives member representing Owan Federal Constituency, Hon. Prof. Julius O. Ihonvbere OON, and his wife, Chief. Mrs. Grace Ihonvbere, has commenced the renovation of the Iloje Maternity and Clinic, Owan West Local Government Area of Edo State.
The renovation work of the health centre which has started, is part of the Ihonvbere foundation numerous projects meant to directly impact on the grassroots and avail constituents access to adequate and proper health care facilities.
Recall that, Iloje Maternity and clinic was built and donated to the community in Iuleha Clan, Owan West LGA of Edo State in 2006 by the IHONVBERE FOUNDATION jointly managed by Professor Julius Ihonvbere, KSC, OON, OGI and Chief Mrs. Grace Ihonvbere. The swift intervention was done in response to the yearnings of the people for a maternity. It was fully furnished to standard. Since then it has become run down.
In the lead up to the 2019 election to the House of Representatives, Prof. Ihonvbere visited Iloje and the people made some demands. On the spot he employed one of their sons as a staff in his constituency Office. He also promised to rennovate the Clinic with his personal funds. Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, KSC, OON, OGI, the Iyase of Iuleha is keeping to that promise.
As the lawmaker continues to provide robust legislative leadership and the dividends of democracy to the good people of Owan Federal Constituency.
