As Christians across Edo State joined millions around the world to mark Christmas, Hon. Dr. Richard Osaro Edosa, Member representing Oredo West Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, has called on residents to embrace the enduring values of love, unity and selfless service that define the season.
In a Christmas goodwill message released on Wednesday, the Deputy Chief Whip of the Edo State House of Assembly described the yuletide as a period for reflection and renewed commitment to peaceful coexistence, urging families and communities to draw strength from shared compassion and mutual support.
Edosa noted that Christmas offers a timely reminder of the importance of unity in building stronger societies, particularly at a time when collective effort is needed to foster stability and inclusive development at the grassroots level.
He prayed for divine blessings upon homes across Oredo West and Edo State at large, expressing hope that the festive season would usher in peace, progress and a more prosperous year ahead for all residents.
The lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to service, pledging to continue working with integrity and dedication in advancing the interests of his constituents, while encouraging citizens to carry the spirit of goodwill beyond the festivities and into everyday civic life.
