Hon. Dr. Richard Osaro Edosa has called on Muslim faithful and residents of Oredo West Constituency to embrace peace, mutual respect and unity as they celebrate Eid-ul-Mawlid.
Edosa, in a goodwill message marking the birth of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.), urged Muslims to reflect on the Prophet’s enduring virtues of compassion, humility, tolerance, forgiveness and service to humanity.
He said the celebration provides an opportunity for residents to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and promote peaceful coexistence across religious and social divides.
According to him, the values exemplified by Prophet Muhammad remain relevant to the pursuit of a peaceful and progressive society.
“Let us continue to live together in peace, mutual respect and brotherhood, irrespective of our faith or background,” Edosa said.
He prayed that Allah would accept the prayers of Muslim faithful, bless their homes with peace and prosperity, and strengthen the bonds of unity among the people of Oredo West.
Edosa also prayed for greater progress and development in Oredo West and Edo State, stressing that unity and peaceful coexistence are essential for the advancement of the constituency.
He wished Muslim faithful across Oredo West a joyous Eid-ul-Mawlid celebration, praying that the occasion would bring abundant blessings, peace and happiness to them and their families.
