Nigerian billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has reportedly acquired a luxury mansion in London worth £53 million.
According to reports by Bloomberg, the 10-bedroom mansion is located in the prestigious St John’s Wood area, close to Regent’s Park.
The property was said to have been purchased late last year and comes with luxury features including a cinema, spa, and cigar room.
The mansion was originally listed for £75 million in 2020, according to earlier reports linked to one of the construction firms involved in the project.
Otedola’s latest acquisition is coming at a time when London’s luxury verty market is experiencing a slowdown due to rising property taxes and recent changes to tax benefits previously enjoyed by foreign residents in the United Kingdom.
