Yaba College of Technology matriculated 17,130 students for the 2025/2026 academic session and urged them to embrace technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship while avoiding cultism.

The Rector, Ibraheem Abdul, said that out of 24,655 applicants, 17,130 students gained admission into National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), and B.Sc Education programmes after a rigorous screening process.

He also highlighted the ongoing academic partnership between University of Nigeria, Nsukka and YABATECH, which enables the college to run B.Sc Education programmes while UNN oversees accreditation, moderates examinations, and awards the degrees.

Addressing the students, Abdul described them as future leaders and innovators expected to contribute solutions in technology, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.
