The political momentum ahead of the forthcoming All Progressives Congress primaries in Oredo Local Government Area gathered steam as the Executive Chairman of Oredo Local Government Council, Hon. Engr. Gabriel Iduseri, alongside councillors from the 12 wards in the council area, officially endorsed key aspirants as consensus candidates.
Among those endorsed was the member representing Oredo West Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, Richard Edosa, who secured unanimous backing for the Oredo West seat ahead of the party primaries.
Others endorsed include Paddy Iyamu for the Oredo Federal House of Representatives Constituency and Hon. Osamede Edebiri for Oredo East Constituency.
The endorsement was unanimously adopted through a motion moved by the Council Chairman, Hon. Engr. Gabriel Iduseri, during a gathering of party stakeholders and elected council representatives.
The development is being viewed by political observers as a major boost for the endorsed candidates, particularly Dr. Richard Edosa, whose growing political profile and grassroots appeal continue to strengthen his standing within the party structure in Oredo West.
