Tinubu Has Outperformed Every Democratic President, Says APC’s Morka

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has outperformed every democratically elected president in Nigeria, insisting that he inherited an economy that was already in deep trouble.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, made the assertion during an interview on Channels Television on Monday.

Morka argued that Tinubu assumed office at a time Nigeria’s economy was in a dire state, describing the situation inherited by the administration as one that was “completely in a mess”.

According to him, the President has since taken bold steps to confront the country’s economic challenges and steer the nation towards recovery.

“President Tinubu has outperformed any democratically elected president,” Morka declared.

The APC spokesman maintained that any assessment of the Tinubu administration must take into account the difficult economic realities the President inherited upon taking office.

His comments come amid continuing public debate over the impact of the administration’s economic reforms, particularly the removal of fuel subsidy and other fiscal measures introduced to stabilise the economy.

Morka, however, insisted that Tinubu’s performance must be judged against the scale of the crisis he met and the reforms his administration has undertaken to rebuild the economy.
