Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has shut down widespread rumours suggesting she has reconciled with her ex-husband, music icon 2Baba (2Face Idibia).
Speculation about a possible reunion gained momentum after an old video of the former couple enjoying themselves at a nightclub resurfaced on social media last week. The clip sparked fresh claims that the pair were back together, with some posts even alleging they were expecting a third child.
Reacting to the reports on Monday, Annie dismissed the claims, stressing that the videos being circulated were outdated and that the stories making the rounds were completely false.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, she wrote: “Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere.”
The rumours first gathered steam on Friday, July 17, after the resurfaced video showed the former couple sharing an affectionate moment during a night out, prompting fans to speculate about a reconciliation.
Annie and 2Baba, who share two daughters, officially ended their marriage in January 2025 after more than a decade together. Since their separation, the legendary singer has moved on with politician Natasha Osawaru.
