Authorities in Saudi Arabia have confirmed the sighting of the Ramadan crescent moon.
The country’s Supreme Islamic religious council announced on Tuesday that the new moon has been observed, declaring that tomorrow Wednesday will mark the first day of fasting as Muslims across the nation begin the holy month of Ramadan.
