Governor Abdullahi Sule has urged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State to embrace unity and active participation as the party prepares for its forthcoming congresses.
Speaking at a high-level stakeholders’ meeting at the Government House Banquet Hall, Lafia, Governor Sule said the gathering was part of efforts to engage party members, reconcile differences, and strengthen APC’s organizational structure across the state.
He stressed that cohesion and internal democracy remain key to consolidating the party’s leadership and influence.
Assuring participants of a free, fair, and transparent congress process, Governor Sule called for broad involvement from all members and committed to strict adherence to due process throughout the exercise.
The meeting brought together influential party leaders, including former Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, members of the State Executive Council, serving and former legislators from the National and State Assemblies, local government chairpersons, and aspirants for various party offices.
Governor Sule emphasized that a united APC, grounded in democratic principles, is essential for the party’s continued success and credibility in Nasarawa State.
