Captain Hosa: Edo has lost a political pillar, destiny helper- Oguma

The member representing the good people of Etsako Federal Constituency of Edo State at the National Assembly and Chairman House Committee On Environment, Rt Hon. Johnson Egwakhide Oghuma has condoled with the family of Late Captain Hosa, Okunbor, the Benin Kingdom, Edo State and the country in general over the death of a foundational Business Man, a father, brother and uncle whose sudden demise, he received with rude shock on Sunday.

Oguma describes late Captain Hosa as a successful business mogul and a trained commercial pilot who, according to him “has seen it all in the business world” as it all started at his early age. Continuing, Hon. Oghuma extols the late Capt. Hosa’s virtues via his remarkable achievements as according to him, “he conquered the air, water and the land, and was a political pillar, bridge builder of immeasurable value and a hard worker”.

“To many, the late Capt. Hosa was an icon, and a philanthropist whose charitable works and benevolence took many Edo sons and daughters to their life destination. The death of ‘Cappy’ as he was fondly called, shall remain a monumental loss to the entire edo people and the Benin Kingdom in particular”, Hon. Oghuma submits.

The uncomon legislator would not fail to mention the supportive role the late business tycoon and political titan has played behind the scene in the Nigerian political space especially Edo politics till his death.

Hon. Oghuma also recalls the imputs of the late Hosa in the formation and development of the current All Progressives Congress APC especially at its formative stages. As part of his tributes to the late business man who has contributed his valuable quota to the overall upliftment of the state economically and politically especially in the last fifteen years, eight of which were under the comrade governor, Adams Oshiomhole, Hon. Oghuma remarks that the late Capt. Hosa “was a fearless, courageous and hard working businessman who exhibited much passion in all that he did to take Edo to a greater height”.

Oghuma appeals to the bereaved family and the entire people of Edo State to take solace in the fact that their late father, brother and uncle lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation, and prayed fervently for eternal repose of his soul. He also prays God to help fill the vacuum created by this painful loss of a generous man.
