The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria Dr. Olayemi Cardoso will join other personalities and discussants in charting a path for the country’s financial sector as the Nigerian Economic Society hold her 2024 Public Lecture entitled , ” Recent Developments in the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market: Issues, options and the way forward. ”
President, Nigerian Economic Society, Prof. Adeola Adenikinju disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen at the weekend.
He said the event would hold at the Central Bank of Nigeria Centre of Excellence lecture threatre, Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences, University of Ibadan, on Thursday 22nd February at 12pm.
The statement said personalities expected at the 2024 Public Lecture of the Nigerian Economic Society are, Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Prof. K.O. Adebowale, Chief host, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Dr. Olayemi Cardoso as key note speaker.
Others personalities to grace the event include, a professor of Economics, Prof Sam olofin, Mr. Bismarck Rewane, Dr. Tope Fasua and Prof. Antonia Taiye Simbine, Director-General, Nigerian Institute Of Social And Economic Research (NISER) who is the event chairperson.
