It was a gathering of praise, prayers, and celebration on Sunday, 24th August, as family, friends, and associates joined the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), Prof. (Mrs) Idia Nibokun Ize-Iyamu, for a special thanksgiving service in Benin City.

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Blessing Agbebaku, and other dignitaries graced the occasion alongside chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC), business leaders, academics, and members of the UNIBEN/UBTH community.

Delivering a sermon titled “From Glory to Glory,” Prof. Iyasen Dabor, Pastor-in-Charge of Trinity Sanctuary, said the hand of God was evident in the life of Prof. Ize-Iyamu. He declared that UBTH was fortunate to have her as CMD, prophesying that the hospital would attract international partnerships and greater progress under her leadership.
